Ivan, I would like to introduce you to hungarian fans, this is a huge honour to me and The Gitarvilag.hu! Okay, start it!

My name is Ivan Mihaljevic and I'm a 23 year old guitarist, singer and composer from Croatia. I've got a solo project with which I play progressive rock and I'm a member of one of the biggest Croatian hard rock bands Hard Time.

Could you say some words about your world of guitar?

I love music and I love creating music! Guitar is my tool, as well as my voice, to reproduce the music that I hear in my head.

How did you find this style?

My style is a blend of my influences and my own creativeness. It took years to develop my style and I'm sure it will keep evolving with time.

As I saw, you have lots of famouse guitarists. For example, Paul Gilbert or Richie Kotzen. Who influenced your play?

Yes, I played as an opening act for Paul Gilbert and Richie Kotzen. They both influenced my playing a lot. Some other guitarists that have had a big influence on me are John Petrucci, Steve Morse, Steve Lukather... .

Ivan, have you played some songs from them?

Yes, and I'm playing some of their covers live too! I'm playing Richie's "Go Faster" regularly as well as Mr. Big's "Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy" as a part of my live set.
